| ABOUT US |
The Marin Foundation is officially recognized as a Federal Nonprofit Foundation under the 501 (c) (3) Internal Revenue Service organizational code. We are the very first organization that works to build a bridge between the religious and Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) communities in a non-threatening, research and biblically oriented fashion. Our unique approach is one that strategically reaches out and partners with both religious and GLBT organizations; working closely with each to make a sustainable, structural difference for the Kingdom in today’s socially driven secular and religious cultures. |
| OVERVIEW OF OUR GOALS |
1) Foster spiritual, religious, and theological growth within the GLBT community
2) Provide tools and curriculum to assist the religious community to productively and uniquely learn how to build bridges within the GLBT community
3) Disseminate scientific and academic research to the religious community, the GLBT community, and the mainstream population through academic journals, periodicals, and news media

| MISSION STATEMENT |
The Marin Foundation’s mission is to build a bridge between the religious and GLBT communities through scientific research, and Biblical and social education.
In all that The Marin Foundation encompasses, we will always have a dual-realm existence firmly planted in both the religious and GLBT communities.
Therefore, our two-pronged process works to educate, equip and provide both the religious and GLBT communities with tangible experiences and relevant teaching that brings each group to have a better, and more clearly defined understanding of the other. At a base level, our challenge to the religious community is to step outside of anything they have ever heard of or known regarding the GLBT community and journey to the threshold of their own individual understanding of what it means to live a life attempting to find meaning in one’s sexuality and faith. The Marin Foundation’s work is comprised of what we call the New Christian Paradigm.
The Marin Foundation’s New Christian Paradigm challenges the broader Christian community to look inside themselves first; examining their own life-long presuppositions of what it truly means to build a bridge with the GLBT community. Our goal is not to change the GLBT individual first, but rather change our own hearts, minds and souls by distinctly refreshing, renewing and refocusing our intent, approach and applications in how to productively build a God-centered bridge within the broader social context of today’s society.
Just the same, we seek to assist the GLBT community in fully knowing and discovering what an unconditional and trustworthy one-on-one relationship with the Creator tangibly looks like. The past is truthful; the pain is real; the experiences are genuine; and in validating the existence of those in the GLBT community we always supply a transparent environment that continually opens a safe space to be who you are in learning how to discover what eternal love from God feels like. Too often people look for validation in the wrong places; earthly places. Whether that validation comes from us, your church, your family or your friends – it all will not matter as the only True validation comes from our Father; and should be sought after as such. These topics are thoroughly covered throughout our Track #1 Classes and Programs – Acculturating Oneness.
Our work will always attempt to bring forth a cognitive spiritual understanding regarding both the religious and GLBT community’s journey towards, and sometimes away from, each other – past, present and future. The Marin Foundation seeks to make available a peaceful learning environment that does not force change from either community, but rather pushes the outer limits of comfort to foster true spiritual and religious growth.
