GREG GOUGH

Greg Gough officially became part of The Marin Foundation in January 2007, although he met Andrew in July 2006 and has been working with the foundation since that time. Greg brings relational and mentoring approaches to the efforts of The Marin Foundation. He is currently working to develop discussion and community forums for youth and young adults. This is a vital extension of The Marin Foundation and proves great space and opportunity for people to make face-to-face connections and build relationships promoted by the vision of The Marin Foundation.

Greg will be making most of his efforts in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he will be making a presence there for The Marin Foundation. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Calvin College in Michigan.

Greg comes to The Marin Foundation after 2 years of work with youth at an organization that was partnered with Mars Hill Bible Church in Grandville, Michigan. Greg will bring strength to the relationship that The Marin Foundation has with Mars Hill Bible Church, being the first out-of-state employee of The Marin Foundation. He has worked directly and personally with many individuals under the age of 30 and has a vision to create space within the church to effectively walk with GLBT individuals. Greg has relationships with several organizations that work with youth and this will be a great benefit to The Marin Foundation.

Greg and Andrew plan to create an education curriculum that will have focus for GLBT youth as well as current issues facing the community. Greg enjoys road trips and playing the piano and he enjoys writing poetry and lyric. He is very passionate about developing relationships with people in order to know their heart and help them feel valued and loved.
